Our mission is to stay true to our roots of of purpose and community.
Our founders first started using tech for good back in 2005 and since then, wow, have we grown! Even though we are now proudly UK-wide, we are still focused on providing local resources and investing in local communities.
Where it started
Since 2005 Glyn and Josh have been innovators, showcasing the use of technology to enable innovative learning practices. This is still true today, however they now have a large, experienced team behind them. The success and growth of iCT4 has been due to the quality of the service provided and the local support offered. It also helps that our team comes from educational backgrounds and therefore we understand the challenges that schools face.
EXPLORE
Our mission
We are transforming classrooms through tech across the UK, however, anyone who has spent a minute working in education knows that a utopian ‘classroom of the future’ rarely resembles the reality in most UK schools.
Instead of working with unlimited budgets and untested concepts, we’re expert at making existing resources stretch further and in advising schools how to invest in systems that will stand the test of time.
We're driven by positive change
We know that effective technology and education expertise can make a positive social impact on young people’s lives and this inspires us, driving us on to always seek to do more. We are committed to investing in ethical business practices, as well as investing in the people we work, and partner, with.
We develop strong relationships with our schools. It’s about taking time to understand the communities they serve. Our staff work with a specific set of schools, meaning that they become an extension of the team rather than an outside supplier with a different person walking through the door each time. Every member of our leadership team have all worked “school-side” before joining iCT4 and continuing to spend time in schools, it’s what motivates them to do what they do.
Embracing the challenge
The challenge for schools is real and as technology continues to evolve, we embrace the challenge of helping to prepare for the next digital chapter, adapting and enabling the education community to make purposeful use of ICT. For us, digital transformation is not about ‘kit’, environment or hardware refits or large capital investments, it’s about developing an individual roadmap that complies with the DfE recommended standards as well as innovation and best practice.
